Accessible Himalayas

We have formed a nonprofit making company called “Accessible Himalayas”. This is the first company which is started in Nepal for accessible tourism and sports for the domestic& international traveler.

We believe that a traveler with a disability or a senior citizen deserves the same access to travel and recreation facilities, including sports, as anyone else. We propose to begin our activities in Nepal, where we have strong roots. The mountainous country of Nepal is well known throughout the world and is home to some of the highest mountain ranges in the world. The highest peak is Mount Everest 8848m high – Sagarmatha in Nepali). Nepal is on everyone’s travel plans- however travelers may get inhibited by the distance and lack of familiarity. Traveling with a senior member of the family or a person with a disability is especially challenging. Finding an accessible place to stay is often difficult as many travelers are on a budget. Not everyone travels on a 5-star budget. We aim to provide comforts at least at a 4-star level, with accessible features in every area.

Through this website, we shall provide information about the country and its attractions. Any query from any part of the world can be addressed in a timely fashion by persons who live in the area. Apart from serving the information needs of the overseas traveler, we also provide services for booking rooms at our guest houses and hotels. We have established networks of travel agents and tour operators. We shall arrange tours for our guests which will address sporting needs as well as cultural interests. As everyone knows, Nepal is home to the highest mountains in the world and has sites important to Hinduism and Buddhism.

We provide world class accommodation and plan holiday activities which will address all the accessibility needs of our patrons. Of course, we welcome patrons of all ages and ability levels. We also offer Trekking in Nepal for able tourist domestic and international -all profit will help for the disabled children in remote tourism destination on Nepal
